Biography

Currently an Associate Professor at Southeast University, affiliated with the PALM Laboratory.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), in June 2020, under the supervision of Professor Shiguang Shan. During my doctoral studies, I also engaged in close research collaboration with Associate Professor Jiabei Zeng. From 2022 to 2024, I conducted full-time academic research at the City University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with Professor Antion Bert Chan), and at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in collaboration with Professor Guan Cuntai).

In 2021, my doctoral dissertation, titled “Facial Expression Analysis in Open-World Scenarios”, was selected as one of the Top 10 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertations by the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG).

My research interests include artifical intelligence, multimodal understanding, generative model, affective computing.
